John Siddle
Director

John is the director in charge of our litigation department. He deals mainly with personal injury cases and has built up a substantial practice in accident claims and occupational illnesses. He is a member of the Law Society's Personal Injury Panel. John is also Livingstons licensing expert.

Steve Walker
Director

Steve is our employment law specialist who joined the firm in 1999. He has earned an excellent reputation throughout the area by acting for both employers & employees in industrial relations and employment matters, often on a no win no fee basis. He also specialises in all aspects of commercial law.

Kim Chambers
Director

Kim joined us as a property lawyer in 2002 and became the director in charge of the property department in 2004. Kim now specialises in commercial property matters but remains in overall supervision of the residential proprty department. Our aim is to provide a cost effective and efficient service to all our clients. Kim can be contacted at our Ulverston office.

Simon Hollis
Director

Simon is the director in charge of our Dalton office and also heads our private client department. He specialises in Wills, tax, probate and Care for the Elderly. He is available in all three of our offices and offers free home and hospital visits to our elderly and disabled clients.

Lisa Dacre
Director

Lisa is the director in charge of our Family department. She combines advice on divorce, financial and children matters and is based in our Ulverston office. She will always try to resolve family issues in a non confrontational manner and is a member of Resolution- formerly the Solicitors Family Law Association.

Steven Marsden
Consultant - Solicitor

Steven has been with the firm since 1978. He works in the private client department dealing with wills, probate and care for the elderly. He combines a sharp legal mind with an understanding approach to his clients and has particular expertise in advising on problems that confront us in old age. Steven also specialises in Inheritance Tax Planning.

Graham Kilburn
Associate Solicitor

Graham Kilburn has come to Livingstons from Gruber Garratt who are a legal firm based in Manchester. Graham is based in our Dalton office and deals with residential conveyancing matters.

Carmel Ashton
Associate Solicitor

Carmel joined Livingstons in January 2007 from a local firm of solicitors. She specialises in Wills and Probate and works from our Ulverston and Barrow offices. Originally from Barrow, Carmel served in the army for a number of years before qualifying as a solicitor in 2002.

Deborah Yearnshire
Associate Solicitor

Deborah joined Livingstons in January 2004 from a Barrow firm of solicitors. She specialises in Wills, Probate and Care for the Elderly from our Dalton office. In March 2006 she became an associate solicitor with the firm. Deborah offers free home and hospital visits for our elderly and disabled clients.

Jenny Nuttall
Solicitor

Jenny qualified as a solicitor in 2007. After studying for a BA Degree in International Relations and Politics she spent two years training with a local firm of solicitors before joining our expanding employment department in Ulverston. As well as being a solicitor, Jenny is a Canadian qualified ski instructor and enjoys hill walking, mountain biking and diving.

David Chadwick
Practice and Quality Manager

David joined us in 2003 as our Quality and Compliance Manager, with over 12 years experience in industry working in Quality Management. In 2006 he became the Practice Manager for the firm. David is also a member of The Chartered Quality Institute(MCQI).

Jean Mease
Legal Executive

Jean joined Livingstons in November 2003 as a Legal Executive within the personal injury department. Jean specialises in accident claims and occupational illnesses. She has built up excellent working relationships with a wide range of experts in this field from barristers to medical experts. Jean works from our Dalton in Furness office.

Sharon Ritchie
Legal Executive

Sharon joined our family department in December 2005. She originally started work for Kendall and Fisher in Ulverston before moving on to another local firm for 10 years. Sharon specialises in family and matrimonial law and will be based in our Dalton in Furness office.

Kelly Rhodes
Licensed Conveyancer

Kelly joined Livingstons in May 2002 as a secretary in the property department. For a number of years she has worked closely with Kim Chambers (the head of department) gaining extensive residential property experience. Kelly has gone on to study with the Council for Licensed Conveyancers and qualified as a Licensed Conveyancer in November 2007. She currently deals with all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales, purchase and remortgages in our Ulverston office.

Senior Conveyancing Clerk


Elaine joined Livingstons in February 2006 to manage our new conveyancing department in Barrow in Furness. Elaine has extensive experience and local knowledge of the Furness and South Lakes property market.
